Short cuts and their full forms

    Hi,

Iam submitting and surrendering myself here by agreeing that I have least international exposure. Many indian newbies (I too a newbie) of internet asked me few full forms of frequently used shortcuts. For which (Many of them) I do not know answer. Even when Iam chatting with some of dp members Iam finding it difficult to understand few shortcuts in there chatting (Whether really those shortcuts existing or they are using of their own?).

So I appeal members from all countries to post shortcuts and their full forms and full forms of shortcuts used on Digital Point forums so that this thread may serve as dictionary of shortcuts.

Will you believe me or not I know only one shortcut i.e., "LOL" (Is it "Laugh out Loudly?) because always Iam laughing at my ignorance.

Is letter "K" stands for okey (O.K, OK, okay, okeh)?. Is there any authenticity to accept these short cuts? Were they accepted internationally?

Thanks for clarification but you have different style of typing (expressing) words. The word exactly you spelled as "Igggggzactly" Under thread How many Indians here? (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=80183&page=9 ). Do you have any dictionary for this or you compose at your own time. Mostly this type of substitutes are used in Cartoon captions (Comics).

Oh that is great url reference. Normally I afraid of using of slangs. I always starve for good framing of sentences to present my Ideas. Still feel Iam not able to do that as effectively as I wanted.
