Well for some odd reason I thought it was free but it's not. Has anyone tried shopzilla before how much traffic did you receive from it? Was it worth it?

(Note: I am in the business to keep my business and sell products not sell links or sell the website. So we're thinking on a more real world professional spectrum. Not a well with low PR like that you won't get any sales.)

I think they sell email accounts to spammer because I signed up not but 5 hours ago and I just got a spam message. Then again it could just be random. I've only signed up with my own website and I hadn't entered my real email until just now (while I'm writing this).

This spam letter actually made me feel the credibility of the site is questionable.

I used Shopzilla for about a year. It brought in traffic, but I was not impressed with the conversion rates. It could have been that I was selling network and PC cables and buyers of those products are not a prime audience for them, so I am not necessarily saying that they will not work for you.

They did seem very legitimate to me, but I get a ton of spam all of the time, so it would be hard for me to tell if they did sell the email address to someone else.

shopzilla sends traffic if you pay for it. ITs just like adwords but for your products. PPC

I tried it a couple of years ago - personally I just found it was'nt worth the effort compared to other methods of promotion - the obvious comparison being froogle/google base/ google shopping or whatever they're calling it this month - free and more response, in my experience.

So you're saying froogle is better? By the way I went to the website and now it's Google Product Search ;) lol.
