I think Adsense has revised their policy to allow it now...

haha, I didn't get one of those emails...I suppose that may be because I trashed AuctionAds' low-paying, sketchy reports all over the place.

If I were the former AuctionAds owner looking to start a new CPC or CPA network, I wouldn't dare mention AuctionAds...Not only would I be embarassed to do so, but it would also kill my credibility.

My first reports on ShoppingAds came out last night and the news is as gloomy as the weather outside today.

I got the invite last night. I put up few shoppingads on one site I have that gets very low adsense CPM rate so we'll see if this will do better.

I like that you can change your border color to white so it looks like just an image. We'll see how it this goes. Stats delayed though.

    My stats. 1 click = $0.29 since 1am.

As far as I am concerned, it is better than adsense because I can choose my keywords instead of depending on the way google sees the contents of the page.

For instance, on my drag racing forum home page, I can make ShoppingAds offer ads about drag racing related video games, whereas with google I'd still be stuck with the freaking ring tones.

Clicks are not amazingly numerous, but I'm still getting about 10 times the $$ I was getting from adsense. Right now I am alternating them with widgetbucks in the top banner. We'll see which one gives us the best results.

I'd kinda given up on WB because they were down a lot, plus they take ages to load, and I didn't like the ads they were sending me. But today I went back to their site, and I saw that they were letting me choose my won keywords, so I decided to give them another chance.

That's what I actually enjoy the most.
Adsense would be great if I could tailor the ads and not have to worry about how I word my posts.

News from today: one of the members of my forum just emailed me that he clicked on one of shoppingads ads and it went to a blank page.

Has anyone had the same problem?

    Got the same email.

At first I thought "Is this a phising scame?".

After I finally logged in I knew it wasn't.

This is working better than AA? Can someone using it post stats?

I have had ShoppingAds up since the 12th and my stats still aren't updated. They say they are 2-3 days behind. Well, it's worse than that.

A couple of clicks show up under something called default. Dunno what that is as I have channels assigned to all the ads. I am not very impressed so far.

That sounds EXACTLY like AuctionAds :D

Stats don't work, earnings are not being recorded, and administration says that all is well

They apparently still have some code issues with the reporting. Although I do have stats, they somehow are messed up. The clicks for me are around 0.15 and I believe shoppingads have a big potential! The graphics is not good either.

Once they fix that, I really hope they will do that soon before losing more members, this one can be a winner! Similar to widgetbucks, but once they fix the issues (its in beta stage remember) this one can be a winner for many sites whose visitors are interested in items from ebay!

AuctionAds was giving me clicks with few converisons. So I switched most of the ads to ShoppingAds. Now, I have impressions with no clicks. How can that be as the ads look very similar?

I used quite a few AA text links (URL converter). Could it be that those were generating false clicks on AA? Either way, no revenue is no revenue. I'll give it a few more days and switch to something else that makes better $$.

The unadjusted value of a click for me is around .15, but some of my earlier clicks that have been adjusted are between .02-.04 a click, so I expect that's what the norm is going to be.

Mine are averaging more like 0.27 per click. The problem is the stats are about a week behind and very erratic. Clicks show up. Then they're gone. Then back again. Then verified. Then unverified.

It's more like an alpha test than a beta test.

If it's like auction ads, it doesn't work well (at least for me)

I also got this email but I am bit doubtful as I do not see any reference of shoppingads on auctionads website.
Can it be another scam to get username and passwords of auctionads users ????
Why do they ask for same username password to login ??

The phone number on the email is: 646-442-1565
The number for TLA is: 646-442-1566 [toll free (877) 480-9755]

Call the second number and see if they are really in charge of Shopping Ads. Or you could call mediawhiz themselves...which by the way, show very few signs of association with AuctionAds themselves ;)

The phone number for MediaWhiz is: 646-442-0074

Alternatively, you could use the contact us form on the AA site and simply ask them.

I have over 60K impressions and not a penny earned yet. LOL, almost as bad as AuctionAds (700K impressions and still haven't reached the $10 minimun payout yet)... LOL, I'm going to stop putting ads on all my sites unless somebody pays for them up front. At least the "communities" I'm developing won't have to look at some crap ads in the meantime.
