Just a heads up. We have been advertising on Shopping.com for about a year. Recently our cc declined when they went to charge for our continuous listings because of the large amount of PPC activity (and the fact that every COMPARISION SHOPPING ENGINE HAS RAISED PRICES FOR THE HOLIDAYS -- what a load). Anyway I had our CFO raise my corp mc cc limit so we could cover the spike in holiday advertising costs. When I went to resubmit the MasterCard to Shopping.com it was no longer an option in the pull down menu. Only VISA, DISCOVER and AMEX were accepted. Here's their explanation. It's hard to imagine they would decline this revenue (especially from an existing advertiser). Totally lame: -------------------------- If a merchant is trying to input a new Mastercard they will no longer be able to do so. Existing Mastercard users should still be able to use their card as long as it is not a new card. The reason we took Mastercard away as an option for the holiday season is because of a high number of fraud cases with this card. It should be available after the holiday season. Please let me know if you have any further questions regarding this issue. For fast answers you can always visit the "Help" tab in the Merchant Account Center.
