    Zen-cart is the best freebie I have used! It does SSL smoothly as well.

    CRE preloaded will give you fits, I have converted several customers to zen-cart

    I cant believe nobody else has mentioned 3dcart http://www.3dcart.com i have used them since 2004 and currently run three storefronts, they are awesome.
