I used 1shopping cart for a few years, I really liked them however now I use paypal for most transactions
I use Magento for my e-commerce stores. It is very flexible and easy to work with. The support could be a little better, if you run into a problem you are pretty much on your own. But other than that, it's a great system and I use it for all my clients who are looking to sell products online.
Currently using Mals ecart. It was easy to use for purposes at the time. I don't think I would ever consider it for more than say 25 products though.
oscommerce. many developers have worked on this open-source due to it's long history, and hence the large number of plugins available.
smackdown_fan, only 10 items are allowed in poll options. You can choose Interspire My choice is Magento. Really powerfull shopping cart. I found only one drawback in Magento - it's heavy. But there is hope Magento will be easier with Magento Lite (when it be released).
I like Prestashop and VM. Prestashop is relatively fast, simple but it still has a few bugs but which one scrip is bug free? VM in combination with Joomla and around 5k of extensions has a great potential. It allows you to create anything you like.
Anyone use both corecommerce and bigcommerce and have an opinion on which they liked best? I am working on a both now, bigcommerce is so complex for variations that it has become way too time consuming to set up our products, but overall I like what I see.
I still like OSCommerce. I pretty much redid the whole front end, but I use oscommerce to process the orders and be the "shopping cart". I have been very pleased with my conversion ratings.
I have only used Prestashop up to present date and there is a distinct shortage of quality templates. Plus, the bugs previously mentioned are something you can do without. I will probably go with Zen on the next one.
