    I bought shop404.com for my online shop. Is this domain okay? How you rate this name?

    Motivation. :)
    It is online shop and don't have any physical shop that is why I choose 404 mean physical shop not found :)

    shopping for stuff that is missing?

    A bit of a #fail at a domain name.
    Any tech person will associate 404 with failure, missing, incomplete and equate it with undeliverable, out of stock etc
    Non tech people may think it has a nice sound to it I guess, but the moment they mention it to anyone remotely savvy they'll be laughed at for trusting the site with their credit card etc.

    I guess if you make a real emphasis on the "shop not found" you might be able to make it work but I prefer names that you don't have to explain.
