Just to be clear, you are France. Not French (i.e., a national of france), not an individual, but the country it's self. Right?
No, no I'm not the country as France is not allowed to write on DP By the way, I'm still being amused by some french bashers. Regards
Seriously I can't be the only one that sees the other common factor: They were depressed (thus the antidepressants). The more logical thing that this shows is how ineffective antidepressants are.
Before the age of 25, anti-depressents have been shown to have the opposite effect on people. The brain has not sufficiently developed before then.
Those studies could just as easily mean that antidepressants aren't as effective on < 25 year olds. Maybe due to the higher hormone levels and mood fluctuations in that age group.
http://www.crbestbuydrugs.org/updates_and_alerts_antidepressantupdate.shtml Under 25 is not "less effective" it's a negative effect. Under 25 makes you far more likely to kill yourself which is the exact opposite of what the drugs are supposed to do.
Then I would want to know who is more likely to kill themselves in the first place without antidepressants? < 25 or > 25? If it's > 25, there could be something to it, but if it's < 25, I would have trouble trusting that kind of study because they're already more likely.
Wow the guy had time to go to the post office and drop off a package to NBC in between the shootings....
This is a one man wrecking crew! See what this guy has done! It's really horrible! I'm extending my condolences to those families who lost their loved ones...
