I think that video made it pretty clear to me that he was simply insane. Not religious, not tied to any terrorist organization, just utterly crazy and damaged beyond repair.

Yeah yeah. I was actually hoping that you were going to claim to be the country, because then I had a fair amount of lambasting prepped and ready.

I thought maybe you were French, in which case you might not have had the best grasp of the English language... and bashing someone for being able to use a second language when I'm still trying to learn a second language (and am not very good at it at all) would just be cruel and stupid.

But claiming to be the country it's self? Now THAT is deserving of lambasting.

The family of Virginia Tech killer Seung-Hui Cho feels "hopeless, helpless and lost" and is "deeply sorry" for his "unspeakable actions," according to a written statement released Friday by his sister.
    http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/04/20/cho.family.statement/index.html
"We are humbled by this darkness," Sun-Kyung Cho said in the family's first comments since her brother shot and killed 32 people and then killed himself. "He has made the world weep. We are living a nightmare."

And now he rests happy that the nightmare has been passed on to his own family

I am at a loss how this guy was not stopped before this tragedy, given the amount of folks that new about his mental state

The guy wasn't stopped because psychologists think pills are the answer to everything.

If a psychologist had done their job he would have determined a laundry list of reasons that he was angry and figured out that he couldn't get past it. At that point, he should have been locked away so he could be helped.

He has clearly showed that he is unstable and capable of doing such things, but still people around him were careless. I don't know how he got guns , can anyone in US acquire a gun legally and take it to college like a mobile phone ?

no kidding. does anyone know where he acquired the 2 9mm's and 100 rounds of ammo or whatever he had. Didn't he have a bullet proof vest too?

People on any medication certainly shouldn't have access to that sort of stuff.

Zoloft or similar make you unfeeling, it takes away your ability to be depressed, but also your ability to feel empathy.
