I am doing some research and hope some people here could possibly help me. I am trying to figure out what people think about handbags vs shoes (obviously targeting women). Please share your stories or simply tell your thoughts... what do you think will make more money for affiliate in long term (given similar effort on development and promotion). Please mention if you had an actual experience with both type of items.
No experience but my first thoughts are if I were to buy some shoes I would want to try them on as different shoes fit differently, where as bags are pretty universal. From that I would guess bags would convert better but who knows what women think?

I am wondering if anyone ever saw any kind of report "sales numbers" by category from Ebay, Overstock, Amazon or any other qualified online retailer. I think if they would provide any sort of granularity there I would be able to get the information I am looking for. Basically I simply need to know if women spend more money online on Shoes or on Bags?
