Shoemoney gets extorted by corrupt DMOZ editor for $5000

You didn't mention ass kissing in this post, did you forget or do you think the pedophile/link selling rhetoric was sufficient in this instance? I am still trying to come to terms with just how useful your posts are.

On the other side of that coin, there is certainly no mystery at all about just how useful your posts are... I really cannot figure out what the hell you're doing here, other than the obvious trolling and hoping to pick up brownie points from DMOZ admins.

As for the original topic -- if a person is being extorted forward or expose the evidence that someone can actually use to act on... surely the extortionist isn't going to stand up and expose themselves.

The correct answer "IS" removing the extortionist - what is served by allowing them to do the same thing to others?

 

Huh if all these editors used time they waste here and on other forums to edit at DMOZ instead maybe there wouldn't be so many complaints.

OR are the UK editors and senior editors just favoring them. While many of you had slammed compostannie about the directory listings other directories got listed in regionals quietly without even saying a word to those editors. What's going on.

Your directory does not seem to have a regional focus. Even a little bit. A site about widgets goes in the widget category and all that. And then there is the lack of content.

I notice that you did not get whacked in the recent google shake up of directories. Perhaps they will get you next time.

 

And those sites are listed in Regional as General Directories ? Congrats to the UK and Asian Editors for getting away with it !!!

Jude, I don't understand what you are trying to say. You want your site listed in the UK? I thought you were from the Philippines. Also I thought google was dropping those directories in the SERPs because they were buying links, now you are saying it was because they list kiddie porn and gambling. They should be banned if that is the case. Perhaps you should share your theory with your buddies in the directories forums.

Neb, I thought you were smarter than that. You know that there are General Category Directories listed under in Regional and don't mistake it as I know and seen it. You guys really don't want to admit faults. But its good and they are listed there.

Editors who attempt to or actually sell links are very easy to catch and they are removed as editors. Webmasters who offer payment to have their sites listed have their sites banned. You know that Jude, you were an editor after all.

 

So how in the hell those General Category Directories got listed in Regional ?

 

there are over 10,000 directories listed under regional.

And if you take Topix as an example, if your directory is categorized by region then you should actually have multiple listings within the ODP. There are other examples of regional directories with multiple deep links, but I think I'm going to stop listing them publicaly (Editors feel free to ask me in PM and I'll send a few).

So if you want a regional listing deep link, just add various regional categories to your directory. Assuming they have content and offer something another multiple listed site does not offer, then you should be able to enjoy the same benefits.

 

I know that Qryz and I can even create one if I would like. Problem is the directories have no regional content whatsoever they just got listed like that.

Do you mean as long as the editors are getting paid for "SEO" work and web site owners are paying for "SEO" work and sites get listed in DMOZ like you do then it is OK?
