Earnings: $0.00 Impressions:8452 Clicks: 61 Referrals: 0 I'm still hopeful though =0) I'm finding it works particularly well on my forum - http://forums.wolfmother.net Previously with Adsense, I would get a click or two per month. With this, because the ads are VERY relevant, I am getting 3-5 per day. Which surely at some point will start converting =0)
Just a bit of encouragement for the eBay aff newbies... I am not an AuctionAds user, but I use the eBay program on various sites. One day I woke up to find a $450 commission in my account. After checking the auction ID, I discovered someone bought a Mercedes from eBay Motors. I do not target eBay Motors or anything remotely related. Just remember that although a visitor may click through on a Backstreet Boys CD, he may later use the cookie to buy a jet. (I don't push Backstreet Boys CDs--just an example!) Good luck everyone, Ty
just signed up, great for high traffic niche forums i am guessing. applied to my forums now. EDIT: within the first 3 mins, my users were already clicking the ads, lets just hope they buy now.
I dont get it.. How do I make multiple ad categories? I'll be using it on WoWIsland which is about as targeted as it gets to World of Warcraft Now I just put World of Warcraft and have almost 3k results.. But I upload my code and there are no ads to be seen? It shows up in the source, but not on the page? HELP!
I've been running Auction Ads for a few days and I like the setup. Here are my thoughts though. The whole ; and , between keywords was a bit confusing at first. But I think I got it down now. Does it really matter? Did I miss any info on cookies? Does the user get a cookie that lasts for a month? That way if they shop on eBay tomorrow I still get credit? I'd love to see more layout options. I use the 468x60 size as it fits best, but I'd love larger images without much, if any, more space taken up. Thanks for a great program. I can't wait for my 'snowball' to come in.
Try remove the quotes from around your keywords. So use auctionads_ad_kw = "world of warcraft"; NOT auctionads_ad_kw = ""world of warcraft""; Or better yet auctionads_ad_kw = "warcraft";
I have joined yesterday, almost 1% CTR for a 468x60 header banner in a music site. Over 10 clicks, 0 revenue of course. I will wait for a few weeks to see how it's goin.
3.15% CTR on 728x90 banners. Have one on top of the page and on the bottom. Had quite a few clicks.. but can anyone here (with experience) tell me what CPC I can expect, and how long it'll take?
Hey shoe I am in for a few different sites.. wondering what your thoughts are on how it would do here http://www.bighardware.info http://www.kitchencabinets-info.com and http://ipod-nano.ws/ Thanks man more good stuff!
Playing with these keywords is fun. I just saw an auction ad on one of my pages for a private clinic with an asking price of over $500,000. I hope one of my visitors wins that auction.
Sounds great =P So what happens when people bid on things for fun but don't end up paying - what happens with the comission then? Are we in any way held liable? Edit: 3,44% CTR.. WOW! 110 clicks in a few hours.. $0.00 I'm debating how much longer I should let this run :/ I'll give it another few days.. if I don't see any money then its just not worth it.
Many ebay auctions are set to end Sunday evening. So a visitor to your site might bid early in the week, which generates a click, but not win the auction for several days. Then add a day or two for the report to filter though ebay and cj and you can easily have a 6-8 day lag between click and commission.
Thanks for the help! I'll let it run till Monday then.. 6 days. At about 150-200 clicks a day I should hopefully see some good revenue by then :!
Earnings: $1.12 Impressions:57329 Clicks: 97 i had a sky scrapper at left bottom of site for 2 days which generated 97 clicks then i replaced banner with some other program and now after 5 or 6 days i got 1.12$ it might increase
