Sorry everybody if I sounded too harsh about CJ. I was in a bad mood.

I don't like big affiliate networks because they have very restrictive linking ways among many other things. But that's my problem, not theirs.
When I subscribed to CJ I had to wait for approval. Then when to subscribed to Ebay program, I never received an email of rejection. And days later, after not making any sale or click, I discovered that I was rejected.

Instead, Shoemoney knows what affiliates want. He's one of us (well, a bit more successful...) but he is still one of us and made things easy and fast.

Auction Ads is so straightforward that I in five minutes I was subscribed, created some good looking ads and started receiving clics. Not to mention that I'm doing good ($24 per day) and with a little more effort I can do much better.

As you can see, ebay's affiliate program has tiers.
    http://affiliates.ebay.com/odcs/custom.htm?template=Payout

Since Shoemoney said he paid about $500,000 in commissions in the first three months, then, as a single affiliate, Auction Ads must be (or will be in the future) in the highest tier where the rate is 75%.
But most Auction Ads affiliates will be in the first tier (50%), so Auction Ads will be making up to 25%.

The same goes for subscribers commissions where most affiliates will be making between $25 and $31 leaving Auction Ads between $10 and $4 per new ebay subscriber.

Simple and bright idea that could only be achieved with success by a man who has been there and done that with success.

Read more. Auction Ads is one affiliate of CJ. So auction Ads gets paid the top teir. Initially, AA will pass on 100% to subscribers.

The said that in the first six months, they will not charge anything. I would imagine, that after that point, it would still pay better than the tier system.

Actually, I believe that is incorrect. At present time - AuctionAds is paying out 100% of the commissions.

Well, perhaps my English is not good enough (I speak Spanish) to explain this kind of stuff. :(

I'll try to do my best now! :)

I'm talking about EBAY's payout to AUCTION ADS.

Auction Ads is paying to its members the 100% of what Ebay is paying Auction Ads, according to the tiers table.
    http://affiliates.ebay.com/odcs/custom.htm?template=Payout

When a visitor referred by Auction Ads wins a an auction or purchase a product in Ebay, Ebay pays 50% (or more) of their revenue to Auction Ads. Auction Ads pays 100% of that revenue they've been paid.

But the point is that Auction Ads is a super affiliate and earns the top tiers and there is where they make the difference.

EXAMPLE ONLY WITH AUCTIONS (not including new subscribers)

    Three AuctionAds affiliates:

JOHN Refered wining visitors that generated $90 in revenue for Ebay
MARY Referred wining visitors that generated $1910 in revenue for Ebay
ANN Referred wining visitors that generated $4000 in revenue for Ebay

In total, AuctionAds generates revenues for EBAY for a total of $6000

Ebay pays AuctionAds $3600 which is the 60% of $6000 (third tier)

Auction Ads, ACCORDING TO EBAY TIERS Pays:

    JOHN: 100% of tier 1 => 50% of $90 => $45
    MARY: 100% of tier 2 => 55% of $1910 => $1050
    ANN : 100% of tier 2 => 55% of $4000 => $2200

Auction Ads has paid to these three members a total of $3295
    Auction Ads keeps a total of $305 ( $3600 - $3295 )

This is my reasoning. Of course, they may have arranged a different thing, but it is clear that Auction Ads as a single affiliate reaches higher tiers and thus generates better commissions due to a large volume of sales.
After that, individual Auction Ads affiliates are paid according to each one level of sales.

    Is this still confusing?

So basically we are earning more through Auction Ads than if we were ebay affiliates?
Anyway, I'm not worried about that. This program is working very well for me and I've only placed a couple of ads. I have yet to start promoting auctions more heavily.
    Thanks for this program Shoemoney!!

I have looked on their FAQ and i don't see them mentioned how you are allowed to show the ads. Do you have to have the url to the link visible? I just have it white, with white background, anyone know if this is ok?

joeychgo, this is from Auction Ads FAQ

"...AuctionAds is committed to paying out a minimum of 100% of eBay commission revenue. See eBay's affiliate program for details on the payout..."

And there is a link to the payout page. All my explanation is based on this statement taken from Auction Ads FAQ. And no matter how badly written is my post, I believe it is clear.

Now, Shoemoney says that they are passing also the bonuses and tiers.

So, that is something new (and great, of course!) that is not stated in the FAQ.

Believe me, I don't mind at all. Extra money is always great! :)

    According to the eBay policies

    http://affiliates.ebay.com/odcs/custom.htm?template=FAQ

While we'd like everyone to promote eBay, there are cases where we can’t allow certain sites to participate in our Affiliate Program. We evaluate all affiliate applications and notify each applicant of acceptance or rejection. We may reject any affiliate application if we determine, at our sole discretion, that a site is unsuitable for the program. Unsuitable sites include those that:

    • Promote sexually explicit materials
    • Promote violence
    • Promote illegal activities
    • Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
    • Include "eBay" or variations or misspellings thereof in their domain names
    • Otherwise violate intellectual property rights

Now, I dont know for certain, but I am assuming AuctionAds is going to have to enforce these guidelines as well.

Perhaps, but maybe not. AA's ads don't show anything to connect them to eBay. So it isn't like the eBay brand would be tainted by AA ads on inappropriate sites. However, AA may have concerns about their brand.

You can show the ads how you like as far as I know - as many units, whatever colours.

I also hide the URL because for my niche, there's nothing to benefit from having it there. On a more webmaster related site you might get referrals, but generally I'd say just blend it in.

I've been seeing the same here on small 100x100 boxes. Getting a little too frequent for such a huge membership. People will eventually start pulling out.
