Your right... it has nothing to do with the other. But when you try to get back in the program can you just trust me and take that link out of your mail signature ?
Thanks Shoemoney, I will do that now, btw, they haven't suspended my account with the amount of sites I have running, so it's simply the best to do what you suggest
I think you should better opt for another network like Adbrite. They have no probs with adult content. And BTW, Shoemoney, Are you the Jeremy Shoemaker? I am a great fan of yours and hope to be like you someday.
Chatmasta, - no idea, as I pointed earlier, and I definitely will have to switch to Adbrite Ncaditya, as Yahoo is not International as yet. Will apply shortly. Thanks
Google is cracking heavily on all sites these days good or bad so only option is to find a better alternative.
Jackburton, you are probably right, but what do you think about the way they blocked my site? After all - everything was done according their rules. Clean site, no strange ads, no links to porn, adult, whatsoever... And they sent me an email with a proxified link of one of the surfers to an adult site? Oh well, I am simply sorry as this site was my biggest earner...
I suggest you ask them for proof of a user visiting this page, because if what you say is true, then they have no way of proving this.
My guess is that it has probably something to do with the promotion of black hat techniques that you've been applying to your sites. I don't know, it could be.
Qwestcommunications, No, this simply COULDN'T BE... As I said earlier to Shoemoney as well, offering the report here was a way to be aware of both sides for the once working with Adsense. Of both the good and the bad, the WH & BH ways. This doesn't place me necessarily between the BH. I like to know all there is to know. But I haven't been using any of it however, and definitely not on the proxy that has been blocked today
That is all true, but you have ignored one very important detail: When you have a proxy site or an image hosting site, YOU GIVE AWAY CONTROL. That is the risk you take, and it's a massive risk, and the one reason why proxy and image hosting sites never last with Adsense.
Just out of curiosity, did the link that Google give you have adsense ads on it? I don't mean your site, but the site the person was visiting through your proxy. Maybe they were violating the tos on their site, and when Google checked the logs they see your url going to a page that is violating the tos?
Jackburton, This is than the main problem, and you are so right. There are people that I know however that are running networks of proxies and all went well for more than a year, and they sold it. Never got a problem. This is why I started with it too, and with one only proxy, not a network. Eduardo, yes. The site is an adult site with .co.uk extention, and I saw on their index page blocked google ads... and just what jackburton is saying here - I am afraid he is right, no control whatsoever we have over what the visitors do or where they go
So that was probably the problem. Your site was used to view a site that was in violation of the tos. I have a few proxy sites too... so this sucks.
It seems so Eduardo... However what is the sense of it?? What have we done wrong and why do WE GET PUNISHED, if there is non affilaition, or advertising for these sites whatsoever?? This is why I immediately wrote to them explaining that I had nothing to do with this site whatsoever. My hope is that they would see that their decision was Un-Just and would unblock my poor site....
Ah yes, that is probably what happened. Please keep us posted... You should look into ways for CGI proxy to mask its IP. Either that, or hook your proxy up to another proxy. LOL. How funny would that be...
You are very lucky you were not banned from Adsense itself . I think it is because you have more than 1 site with Adsense.
