Aaaaah, now you are talking my lingo. I knew some mystical numinous argot in you or your native tongue was beckoning to be invited and ushered out to the fore by your sonorous petitioning for everybody to see,

    Nurtured into visibility. Wow. :D

So that’s what you are good at! Serving drinks? In smoke filled bars?

Tell me who you are and I’ll take that drink.

    gworld,

But first I have to cleanse her of the impurities you have inflicted on her with your DMOZ "traitor style" indoctrinations.

You have cultured a huge following of impressionable disciples. All too eager and adherent of your estranged cult and a hate philosophy regarding the very good name of DMOZ. :D

Is that what you joined this forum for?. To besmirch the good name of an honorable organization desperately trying to bring some sort of order to the chaotic web?

Annie seems an exciting and worthy prize for a dawn duel between you and I

We are duscussing gworld's ego and how he is awe inspired that annie is all powerful in this forum.

gworld arogantly usurped the topic of discussion to advertise his hate of DMOZ, backed up by the forums editor.

We have already learned that he is a traitor of his fellow comrades at DMOZ and the surprising thing is that he has a cult following.

If you need help reading again, let us know to use larger fonts for you so that you don't have to keep asking questions.

    Don't worry annie,

gworld attempted unsucessfully to embroil you and I into a fracas. I did not fall for it, and guided you down the right path.

I'm here and I am witnessing first hand a quintessential traitor of DMOZ. gworld flagrantly besmirching the good name of a directory that he himself benefits from.

Probably with a large number of links planted within the categories of DMOZ. I am not accusing him of having links there. I say he might have.

Don’t you think his mud slinging at his fellow comrades is out of line?

He even resorts to images to display his mocking of fellow members of this forum and thread.

No subject matter is safe with such a traitor who usurps the topic of discussion to declare his nobility as being the finest representation of what a DMOZ editor should be. It is arrogance.

Dmoz editors are nowdays very rude they do not even accept quality sites so it is better that we should start a web directory of our own which should be the largest so we can take on Dmoz so we could teach them a lesson

And to do that you would need an equivalent number of editors. In any random group on that scale you will have very nice people and very rude people and everything inbetween. When you start selecting sites on the basis of "quality" and reject the mirrors, affiliates, plagiarised content, and other such spam, you will soon start to build up a small band of vocal opponents who will accuse you of being corrupt, of not recognising real quality, of being negligent because you didn't catch every hijacker, 404, and bait and switch immediately, etc. Deja vue...

    gworld,

I am one of those very fast readers. I read a lot of your posts. Unfortunately I failed to gather any worth while informative information from you other than a clear understanding that you are a mascot here. That's why you seem to pop up when least expected.

No contribution to the internet fraternity.

    popotalk,

You sound like a quasi wannabe disciple of gworld. Ganster type body guard of a so called DMOZ editor who has little to say other than childish remarks you dance to the tune of.

You can take a running jump in the lake for all I care. Please do a tripple salko befor you enter the water for gworld.

Nothing in this thread contains any worthwhile information from you other than derisive connotations. :D

I came here to find out if I too can get a nice link from DMOZ. Possibly butter up a few editors, offer bribes etc, the usual thing.

But unfortunately things got off to a bad start. gworld popped up and all hell broke loose.

My offer of a bribe still stands. I too want a good link from DMOZ. Since no conventional ethical method exists to get listed, a bribe of some sort is on offer. I hear it works wonders and a particular strong category can be selected as an optional extra, at a price of course.

Plantation, after reading this thread from start to finish (well i admit I skimmed a bit here and there) I feel it is my duty to ask this question. Please be assured that no offense is intended.

Are you now or have you recently been either (a) under the influence of mind-altering street drugs, or (b) in the grip of an acute psychotic episode?
