wow.. thats crazy. Most my comp ever reached was 60degrees then it would crash, seriously look at cooling your system down...
even though my average room temperature is around 18 C my CPU is 95 C. I talked to my computer dealer he told me to buy a cooling system, I didn't and it has been working fine since 3 years now
this is normal, sometimes the software that reads the sensor values go crazy or incase you are using more than one HW monitotring software (opening one immediately after closing the other) may result in a clash & in such case even if you restart your computer your BIOS too would report the same. jus turn it off for a brief period and bak on everythin wud be bak to normal. if it indeed went so high the system would keep restarting. the old AMD CPU temperatures used to go that high but graphics card cannot sustain such high temperatures. something wrong with reading for sure. use EVEREST it is very light on your system yet most comprehensive package ever it is used by HP too to monitor their corporate systems.
I'm uninstall this type of software because it make me crazy each time im looking at my laptop's temperature.
