Shit! MY DP acc got hacked!

Hey there,

Well, someone accessed my password with my DP acc and posted few threads, I guess I got a few infarctions for that too.

I have changed my pasword now..

BUt I couldnt take any action before getting the infarction.

Can the Mods do something about it and pls could they provide details of what actually happened.

Shit, Im changng all my pwds now!

 

I doubt the mods can do much, and it looks like you already know what happened

 

well, just this morning...... i was surprised looking at few of my last posts which i never posted.. and i when i read, i realised what happend.. And i posted msgs in there that it wasnt posted by me and my acc was hacked but before i could create this thread, those threads were deleted and i got infarcted!!

 

I don't think they will do anything and you probably should have PM'd a mod about the issue.

 

Just PM a member of staff and see what they can do

 

You should ideally have alphanumeric passwords as this will make it harder for people to hack your account, imo if your account was hacked then your password was probably to easy to guess, or at some point you may have been lead to a phising site somwhere.

There's nothing the mods can do, the infractions didnt get you banned so don't worry about it too much, they should expire eventually. shit happens as they say

 

Mine was hacked too even hacker bought a script using my account.

Got feedback from a mod..

The infarctions were seemingly posted from the same ip range as mine. So, they wont remove my infarctions. They arent willing to even give the ip from where the malicious posts initiated.

I think. I atleast deserve to know that!!

You didn't get banned so just be thankfull you didnt, like I said the infractions will expire eventually and besides, they are private, only you and staff can see them, its not like you got a great big "ive been naughty" label stuck on you , if your password has been changed don't worry about it and move on, its a good idea to change your passwords every so often too.
