I have only DHL at my city and I think I should search for Fedex

That means I can buy anything I want using myus.com

All the taxes will be paid by myus.com which will in turn paid by me so there will be no problem when the goods pass through customs

You will need to fill out a customs declaration form for sending out any goods/merchandise (not just an envelope/letter) from India via the Indian postal service. The recipient will bear any customs duty applicable.

    Correct :)

i have bought DVD etc from outside india, but all low value below 5000. i suggest you keep the value below 5000 if not the item wont even reach you. Better yet i used to get in ordinary post rather than courier.

dont import items outside india without proper export import code. instead of facing customs headache, contact your local shopkeepers in mumbai or chennai and ask them to import and ship it. This way i got new 3d monitor last year from taiwan, the shopkeeper from mumbai imported for me and shipped to me. this way i never had to order directly and shopkeepers will surely have necessary licenses to export items. i just paid 2-3k extra and i dont mind considering the hassles with customs and problems.

nowdays everything available in india and india is so much global market.

All goods imported into India from abroad is liable to duties of Customs under Section 12 of the Customs Act and also is liable to all the restrictions under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulations) Act 1992. However, the Government has exempted gifts received from abroad by persons residing in India from the whole of duties of Customs and from restriction under FT (D&R) Act. At present, import of goods upto the value of Rs. 5,000/- is allowed as gift, duty free. This exemption is allowed only for bonafide gifts imported by air or post. For the purpose of calculation of this value of Rs. 5,000/- the air freight or postal charges paid are not added. The clarifications that may be needed are as under:

I'm really scared now to deal with Indian custom! I want to share my experience with them.
2 year ago, I purchase protein, etc bodybuilding supplement, just 2 month before my fencing competition ( Indian custom is way too slow ). I also involve my 2 friends, and place bulk order for over $500, well none of item is clear by Indian custom. I visit the main office, but what the heck, none of them even cared about anything, just worst people!
I don't really get the problem actually, after 1 year these same type / brand of supplement are easily available on shopping malls.
    worst experience ever!!
