Shipping from USA - best mail forwarding companies

Does anyone use any US mail forwarding companies for your ecommerce sites? Which ones do you find affordable while at the same time providing a quality service?

One of our suppliers only uses UPS and Fedex, and their rates to Australia (for small parcels) are astronomical. On the other hand, USPS charges decent prices, but my supplier doesn't use them. So we need a decent mail forwarder.

Have you tried to hold stock locally in the states? Shipwire.com might work.

I also need to admit that USPS is the most affordable shipping method. If there is any chance for you to make your supplier use this method, that would be just great for you.

Amazon has fulfillment services. Fairly reasonable from what I have seen.

Thanks for that. I've checked them out but it seems they don't service Australia.

Sadly we can't get them to use USPS. Just UPS and Fedex or our own shipping service. Might try to open up an account with USPS, but i am not sure if this is only open for US businesses/residents or for foreigners too.
