Shining Light effect in Fireworks 8

I'm trying to create a shining light effect (like on a glass) in fireworks 8 does anyone know how to create this effect?

I think you might be better off in Image Ready that comes with Photoshop. Create the individual frames in Photoshop with a gradient overlay moving across the image in a lighter colour, then make this an animted gif in Image Ready. This is if you are using it on the web by the way.

 

He might not have photoshop. Try searching on google.

 

Ive just never seen fireworks as a program for doing that kind of thing, I use it, but mainly for web, never animation or animted gifs etc
