Shifted From Blogger To Wordpress. One Question ?

    I have imported all the posts successfully. I have chosen SAME PERMALINK as of blogger.

    A small problem. In blogger post URL contains maximum of 6 words. But in wordpress its different. So my google search has been down.

    Please tell me how can i set wordpress to show 6 words at maximum for post URL like this one

    2009/04/post-title-maximum-of-6-word-s.html

    Additional Info- I have found that the TITLE WORDS which is shown above in BOLD letters are called POST SLUG. Can i change default number of WORDS in post slug ?

    in wordpress.org (downloaded and installed on your server)

    Not sure how to get this automatic.

    You can edit manually this in every post, look over the text editor, there's a field for the post title (perm links activate is needed)

    How your "Google search is down" - what you mean

    yes, ofcourse i can edit the links manually but my question is... can it be done automatically?

    look for some tutorial at shoutmeloud.com hope it helps....it has some tuts on redirection and all that
