    Shell 32.dll WTF is it?

    My virus programs informs me there has been changes in this file.

    What does this file do in windows.

    I've heard virus hackers sometimes use it. Can I delete the file or it is used by microsoft XP?

    If you delete it, the GUI of WinxP will not run. You should probably do a system restore if changes have been made to it, though.

    GUI = Graphical User Interface.

    Sorry, yes. Graphical User Interface or what you see. Without GUI the computer would be a black screen where you would have to type commands and parameters do to what you want. Like UNIX.

    Win32.dll is a windows module, put into Windows for misc. reasons. Deleting it isn't really the best of options. If your virus scanner found a virus in it, run another scanner. If THAT found a virus, then back everything up and reload the OS.
