    Its only annoying if your intentions were to hook up with her in the first place. She's being honest. Wouldn't you have been more upset if you both hooked up and then you found out she had a boyfriend afterwards?

    I know a lot of my friends (girlfriends) that are friends with men as well as women, but it doesn't mean she's available, or broke up with their boyfriend if she talking to a guy-friend. Women are more apt to tell you right off if their seeing someone so they don't give you the wrong impression.

    So she's doing you a favor.
