I saw another similar thread posted about this, and I had the exact same problem.

What happened was I got banned under the name SUP3RNOVA, and the ban was supposed to be lifted this month. I tried logging in, and I didn't have sufficient prividledges to do stuff. So I emailed the owner, and after 5 days or so got no response.

It'd be great if you can correct this problem for me, I'm sorry also for making another name, but there's no other way really to get in touch I guess. My ban was lifted on the 6th of this month.

I am sure creating a " second " account to get yourself unbanned , is not going to help .

 

well shawn did say it was a bug in vB, and the other poster got both accounts merged.

OMG 2 similar name. I am sure both names are same user.

You can wait for 6 more days than you can enjoy DP once agian.

 

That's what I used. He's a busy guy and I understand that, but I made another name yes and that got banned.

Yeah, I was unbanned, but because of the bug I couldn't do anything. So I just made a similar name and tried telling Shawn, but he was busy I suppose, and then that name ended up getting banned.

The ban was lifted the 6th of February.

 

I see this problem was fixed. Thanks a lot, DP rocks! And my apologies for getting banned in the first place (back in October when I was a n00b).
