Hmmm...If another person were to hack and place Shawn's name, then the hacker would not benefit anything out of it. But if the person would be Shawn, of course....well you know... He did mention he was bored right? Only the great guy can confirm.
I dont really see y people are doing like this. When we have a successfull forum like DP running and everyone is benifitting from it, y these people are creating a tough time to DP and Shawn? To whoever has done this - Try creating a site like DP and grow up. Dont be fooling around yourself and fool others as well.
It could be the handiwork of those who have personal animosity towards Shawn. How come he would say that he had done it...

I'm guessing Shawn doesn't even care about them, as they are so small. He doesn't have enough time to read PMs, why would he have enough time to 'hack'... Umg, advertising!

not necessarily. it's just a setting that you can put in vb where you give everyone a message but you can't actually do anything on the forums (post, register, etc) this is commonly done when the site is moving hosts and whatnot. so as others have said i doubt the site was hacked and is likely advertising.
Well, a question for all those who consider it as an advertisement..... Why would the admin just want a 'This site has been hacked by Shawn Hogan'.... Why? None of the sections are available.... everywhere there's the same note. So does the admin only want his readers/viewers to see that notice, is that all? Really, i don't think it is an advertisement...... I feel its the real Shawn and i wish to send my congratulations to Mr. Hogan
Shawn would not even care about that site! Linking shawn's profile with that page is a bit extreme....... hope shawn takes some action against that site!
