Shawn Hogan (Owner of DP) Is Getting Sued For Cooking Stuffing

I hope everything will be alright. I appreciate Shawn for all his work so I hope things will settle in the end.

 

Don't be so sure, charges under the RICO Act can involve seizure of assets to ensure they are not sold off to escape penalties and such things. People have even been sentenced to life under RICO, so for Shawn's sake getting the Ebay case thrown out is a must.

 

At this point, this is not a criminal case. Therefore discussion of a life sentence or seizure of assets are not relevant issues in this civil case. If I recall the complaint correctly, the only things being sought in this case are money and injunctive relief preventing others from using the alleged system.

 

Hats off.... Shawn.. Today I have become one of yours fan. I hope we could meet one day.

 

Last time I checked, only hardened criminals such as the members of crime families or drug traffickers received heavy sentences such as life. Shawn won't get life. He'll likely get ordered to pay restitution if convicted.

 

It is not a criminal case. There will be no conviction.

You might want to have a better understanding of the facts since you have it on your site and a link in your signature.

 

I guess I used "conviction" loosely but he's still going to have a verdict and he's still going to be either guilty or not guilty.

IF it is true then the guilty party(s) deserve everything they get IMHO. Theres no excuse for fraud, no matter how big or rich the company your stealing from may be!

Obviously if the person has truely done nothing wrong then fair enough.

 

Technically its would be called "Larceny by Trick" in Ireland maybe its called something similar in the USA.
I would imagine you could get locked up in Sam Quentin for 10-15 for that over there, well thats if they get found guilty, just remember if you do get sent to jail and by chance drop the soap in the shower do not bend over to pick it up under any circumstances!

If instead of spreading rumors, commenting on things people don't even understand (like saying cookie stuffing is OK )
and making wild guesses about this - maybe people should just follow the facts of the case so far.

Now this still does not mean Shawn et all are guilty. Everyone is innocent until proven.
BUT those are the facts of the VERY REAL (not rumor) case so far.

 

Can anyone explain the significance of that move?

 

It will cut down on appeals and the Judge will be better.
