Hello, I have created a URL shortner web-site at http://sharpurl.com/. Have a look and leave your reviews. Thanks!
Hey, I like this site! The URL is great too, very easy to remember! Reminds me of the google layout, very straight forward (which is a good thing)! Do you think people will click on the ads though? :S
Very good name and a good, simple site that does what it says 'on the tin'. I can't think of any ads that would do well though, maybe see who is using it ie. what urls are being shortened. That way you could target some CPA ads and hopefully make more than you would with adsense.
A couple of small suggestions that could increase your CTR: *At the moment you have an indent. Align everything to an imagined vertical line so that the Title and textboxes are all aligned. *Remove the border from the adsense code *Either change the "URL" colour from red to maroon or change adsense url colour from maroon to red How are you going to promote this stuff? Can you create a widget and offer it to SEO/marketing related blogs? Have a thought, if you can learn something from tinyurl... they are pretty popular.
Suggestions: -Buy a Web 2.0 Logo...You want to create some sort of brand - Ditch the adsense...No ads on the homepage during an initial launch phase..you don't want to dilute the site or drive away too much traffic - Tag feature is AWESOME!..clean and professional Get this in the hands of affiliate marketers and you will develop a loyal crowd
there isnt much content to review. since its a URL shortener i think its pretty straightfoward. one suggestion is maybe to check for site existence and then make shorter URL.
i like the layout of the site, very simple and quick at loading, one problem though when i put a space before the url i shortened it didnt take me to the right site came up with "http://http://www.thesiteientered.com".
ur site is good and working finely and opening quickly except this there no content in your site to make review so according to me ur site is good and good potential. Thanks.
Over 100k entries, wow! The utility itself is great, but it could use some color, namely a web 2.0 logo.
Well thanks for liking the site...I am making almost nothing from adsense and would plan to move to CPA soon...Thanks for liking the simplicity and design...Also I liked some suggestions and will work on them very very soon! There might be any problem at your end...but the site is working very fine...just try once again carefully... I am not much familiar with web 2.0 logo could you please explain it to me? I am doing some directory and article submissions...Will move towards article writing and article submission in next few days and then finally towards Adwords...
I did several tests: 1.) Straight URL/No Tag; Worked perfectly. 2.) Straight URL/With tag; Did not work. 3.) Single space in front of URL/No Tag; Did not work. 4.) Single space in front of URL/With Tag; Did not work. Conclusion: 1.) You need to left trim/right trim the spaces from the url entered. 2.) The tag, although an excellent idea, doesn't seem to work yet. Extra: 1.) The above people are right about using some page design and/or graphics to help you establish an identity.
Hello, Here are my results:0 1.) Straight URL/No Tag; Worked perfectly. 2.) Straight URL/With tag; Worked perfectly. 3.) Single space in front of URL/No Tag; Worked perfectly. 4.) Single space in front of URL/With Tag; Worked perfectly. Please check if your browser got serious issues. Thanks!
