I just want to said you old affiliate program is good, and the new one is too bad for me.

Pay-per-download for ALL countries or 60% of ALL PREMIUM SALES!

Can I keep the old affiliate program?
If not, I rather use hotfile and fileserve.

Poland in group C? [IMG]. This is not good news for me and many of my friends. I think that other companies have a better deal now.

We are aware of the site not opening. Something was wrong with our servers. The servers should be fine in a few minutes. The network is waking up now. We appreciate your patience. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Guys would you please give it a break with the 'free users download speed' deal?!
100 - 170 kB/s is a great rate for start. I know sites which are up for years now in the file host business and their speed can fall down to 20 kB/s or less. Which sucks.

I don't believe that neither megaupload or fileserve or hotfile or ANY OTHER started it's working days with speeds for free users of 400 kB/s or above. it takes time for that.

Sharing Matrix is currently implementing it's new system, and plans to re-start it's growth through it. If we are given 100 -170 kB/s as start that's good!!
At this point a promise of growth of their serivces over time is all you need if everything goes as planned.

-> And the ONLY reason why SUDDENLY everyone became so concerned with that is:
the 30$ per 1000 downloads they saw in the 400 MB+ section of their new system. So everybody just went "wakka wakka - I want that as soon as possible!". Guys, WAKE UP - fly down from the clouds and realize that it will take time for great speeds and getting quick money on the go with huge filesizes here.
Focus on what we are already given and that's A LOT.

I compared your system to other similar file-host systems and this is how I feel:

File-Factory. Offer a whole lot of countries, all those countries are valued equally (single tier), but they count only one IP per 24h (if I got it right), and also they have the "Growth from copper to platinum scale" -> this scale is very annoying - you grow on it only when you make affiliate premium sales, and once you become platinum that's only a temporary deal. You start going back down to copper after a while until the next affiliate sale.

Hotfile. Counts all downloads from free users. Half less countries than File-Factory, but still has the largest countries counted down. All countries are valued equally. Also has the copper to platinum scale system. You get to platinum through premium affiliate sales (mostly, or perhaps even ONLY - currently I haven't noticed otherwise) and it doesn't stay there forever (of course). After a while you are going back to copper ESPECIALLY if you upload more files to your account. Their services are good, but this "temporary deal" - even when I haven't uploaded nothing new - it's a minus.

FileServe. Counts all downloads from free users, except the SAME FILE being downloaded more than once from the same IP throughout 24h. Counts all countries BUT has country tiers. On the other hand, has no "copper to platinum scale system" which is good.

Both Hotfile and Fileserve are better than File Factory.

Between Hotfile and Fileserve is hard to say which one is the best - they both seem to be two sides of the same coin. Which is best really depends only by the user's preferences:
    - where the user posts it's files ("all countries are very important to me!" or "I need best rates for the biggest countries only!")
    - what kind of files the user posts and in which frequency (small 50 MB and less, cause "I'm posting A LOT of files all the time" or 150 MB to 1 GB only "cause I post better content files on 'better content' sites - more periodically -> less time spent posting")

Since your system IS VERY SIMILAR to the one that Fileserve has, your only question is whether you topped THEM. It certainly seems like that's the case - but there are some scale differences. I think that your other features currently make you preferable.

Whenever someone encounters your and Hotfile's systems - and then studies them - the only best thing he can end up doing for himself is: CHOOSE BOTH.
Different systems = different posting styles which can both bring you good earnings, sometimes can be also combined for best results.

I don't see how this SM beats FS cause when you compare group C for file size 100-200mb the price on FS is $10 while SM is $6

I'd actually like to stay on the old rates =[
