Hello, I would like to hire an adwords professional but i am scared to share my id account number with, does anyone already did it? Regards Frank
there is nothing to afraid. client manager have full authority but client managers don't have access to proprietary client information such as credit card information. so they can only misuse your available money, and not use your information, or make transaction using you cc. so dont worry, faith in good.
hi, But if the adwords professional uses my account to advertise his website with for example a 1000$ daily budget while i am not connected to my account adwords??
just make your account as small as you can afford, once your faith build on manager, then you can do as you wish. also once a compaign started cannot be deleted, but still there are other ways to cheat, you should be carefull initialy.
When you hire a campaign manager they will simply link to your account from their MCC - a request which you will have to approve. You will still have full, unrestricted access to your account and remove the account managers access at any time. If you're worried about your account manager using your account for something they shouldn't, well, I think it goes without saying that you shouldn't hire that person.
I want to hire because my clicks can't reach my budget of 5€ per day!! So i tried to improve it without any fine results .. If you have any ideas ..
Yes it is ok to share your account ID. This is why Google came out with MCC accounts to managers can handle your account without you having to give away important information like billing, passwords, and analytics. Also it makes handling multiple account seamless for account managers Plus if you don't like their work, all you have to do is click unshare. It makes the firing process a lot easier, unless your under contract, then it gets complicated. Also, not everyone can be given an MCC account, you have to apply for it (or at least when i got one I did), so abuse is minimal. If you are taken advantage of by someone, report them, so Google can take action and I'm sure Google will issue a credit against this kind of fraud. When you hire and choose a professional make sure he has a reputation, this is also a great way to ensure you wont get scammed. If he has the reputation of good work, I'm sure he is not going to tarnish his client potentials For many reasons like 1. Your to busy running you business to worry about campaigns, clicks and analytics 2. You are a newbie and want to ensure the money is spent wisely 3. Sometime its just wiser to employ someone who knows what they are doing 4. Sometimes you just need insight from someone who has years of experience 5. You want to get to the next level, or your having a problem solving a sticking point Or drop them a PM but don't spam the Q & A section with nonsense
Most of my work is through an MCC account for various clients, as GFC said the client has full control of the account and can review any activity that is taking place. Each client is different some never look/log into their account and other work in partnership with me looking at the account on a daily basis. The idea is the same though if I provide a solid and honest service they carry on using my service and recommend me to associates therefore building a sustainable business. Short term gain would never be a consideration
You need to pick someone you can trust as mentioned above they do have access to the majority of your account, defiantly go with someone who is qualified by Google and if your looking for someone on DP make sure they a reputable member but 99.9% Account Managers don't abuse their access and I haven't heard about this happening.
