By no means do I claim to be good at any of this. This is more of a hobby. But I was fooling around with Joomla and came up with an idea and put 2 and 2 together and for my first real try I don't think it is that bad.

Now I don't know what to do with it. I guess I don't really feel like promoting it as I sort of like to figure out how things work and then move on.

But please tell me what you think. Or how I could improve it or should I promote it.

    the website is www.shareyourexpertise.com

It is an ad revenue sharing blog communtiy. Very simple.

    Thanks

it loads a bit slow, maybe because of the host

You have already started to PROMOTE it via your SIG, it doesn't take time for you, so just continue doing it

I think the site needs some CSS formating as many of the letters seem too big for me

I also see minor errors in the site,

this is a good start, so continuee that way, wish you all the best

    Good Luck

I agree with ludwig about the css formatting, the numbers especially, next to the catgegories are very large in comparison to the categories themselves. There are also a few errors in the layout of the site but like ludwig said, its a good start. I say promote it, its probably worth it.

Hey thanks! The styling is not my strong point at all. But since I taught myself CSS and Joomla templating in like 6 months I am not too discouraged.

The large letters are from a a style one of Joomla's premier designers use. Suppose to be Web 2.0ish. So please feel free to offer pointed suggestion.

What are the errors? I am learning from my mistakes and would love to fix them.

I also need to test it to make sure the revenue sharing module works.

Overall the system was designed (put together rather) for a secure online bloggin system for our schools history department. Imagine all the Categories and Sections being assignments.
