I think this is the right place for this question. I have shared web hosting and its more like a scared webhosting with problems. I cant do a number of things that I want to do and when I ask them they say sorry this is not available or that is not available. For example I asked them I want awstats and they said you dont have cgi capability....

Which shared Linux webhosting are you guys using and which one should I switch to ? any recommendations for shared hosting that is not too restricted and allow me to run unlimited domains with a lot of bandwidth ?

    thanks.

What is your price range? I currently use SecureServerTech (google) and they are great with pretty much any feature I want on my account!

I have heard bad things about 1&1 lately but I have not personally used them.

I would say HostGator are pretty good, I have been with them for years and I am a respected customer of theirs now.

I could also spam my own web hosting company while am at it too.

I would seriously consider HostGator though.
