Godaddy has a control panel to add new domain hosting. You have so many credits and each one takes a credit.

When I run the addon and put a new domain in, I get no email.
But from the control panel I get the ip and can then ftp in and I see the files.
I use ASP. I put index.html in the folder and the asp files.
    Really simple.
But of course when I type in the domain in the browser it goes to the old parked page or gives me a 404 error....

Maybe I have to wait 48 hours, but I doubt it.
I sent in a ticket and they threw it back at me with dont bother us we cant help you blah blah...

So why can't I see my website.

I doubt they actually used those words in the support ticket. You're probably not setting up something correctly. Also, I don't think they support ASP. Another thing might be you uploading the files in the wrong place.

I discovered their free accounts get plastered with their ads.
But I don't think that is causing the trouble.
They support asp, there is an option, linux or asp/windows.

They should have it setup with a test script if they were professional.
They just give you nothing and when it doesn't work, they say you fix it.
They should at least tell me what they see.
I will keep looking for what isn't setup right, but they have no checklist or anything, sad.

Called godaddy tech support, gave up on emailing tickets in.
The guy walked me through some steps and then it worked.
So I must have had something configured wrong.
    Thanks to godaddy tech support!
