Shared Ip websites and SEO for'em

I have bought this new reseller account for my client and hosted 6 of her domains on it. But I am not seeing any sub pages indexed in G,Y or MSN.

My question is:
Web domains which are hosted on a shared IP are impossible to SEO or the SE's don't even considor them as websites or is it ok to optimize shared ip sites.

Sites on shared hosting accounts can rank very well. If you link them to each other though, the links may be less valuable than normal.

 

If all of them are related and linked to each other, you might have some major ranking issues

 

if every of them have link from good quality backlinks, then you can freely link them each other, if content is relevant then don't worry link them,

 

i would not link them together for now, being new sites. good way to find out what the last page of google serps look like

 

I disagree with Brenda. The linking would be have to be pretty heavy between the sites to have a "major" effect on your ranking.

If you're worried about interlinking your sites then see if your host gives you the option for dedicated IP addresses.
