I have been enjoying my relationship with shareasale.com since i joined a few months ago. I was just wondering if anyone has had any negative dealings with them? I like the programs and have found some very good payouts with them.
www.Shareasale.com is a GREAT network. Most affiliates love them and you will seldom if ever find any complaints here or at other forums. They have one of the best reputations in the industry.
got 2-3 cheques from them ontime. Only problems is merchant goes to lower funds /expire very soon . As they work with all kinds of merchants and donot have much set up fee for merchants
THe support is not good from merchant prospect... i droped them a mail at and soon the password arrived but no further assistance and feedback ???? still feel AF,AW,SQ were far better
I like them but they don't seem to be quite as polished as CJ or Linkshare. I have a few very niche topics and they have the merchants I need. I haven't had any negative dealings with them and will continue with them.
Hi, I have recently opened an account with them..they seem good...but is it me or is the affiliate login screen down quite often? Regards, Debra.
Shareasale is great. From a merchant perspective their reporting is not as good as CJ/LinkShare, but it is a great platfrom nonetheless. I have seen firsthand that some of the biggest affiliates out there now use Shareasale. Brian Llittleton who set up Shareasale has done a great job. He won an award (definitely well deserved) from Kellie of AFP recently: http://affiliatefairplay.com/newsblog/2006/08/20/affiliatefairplay-fair-practice-award-announced/
We (Vat19.com) just signed up last week with a data feed and auto deposit, and it's been smooth so far. I haven't seen a lot of affiliate activity yet, but I'm sure it will take people a while to find us and get the sites changed to include our links. Most of our items (stuff like a video fireplace, video aquarium, driver's education DVDs, etc.) are in the $15-30 range, and average orders are around $30-50, so my guess is that average commissions will be around $5-8/sale. We do have a couple of manufacturing DVDs that retail in the $500-1000 range, though, so people who manage to move those could do pretty well at 12.5% commission. I'll definitely mark this thread and come back to comment when I've had a little time to see how things are going.
IF Linkshare was like Sharesale and aff it would be great. There are some great companies on there however navigating the website in Explorer 7 is a nightmare.
I wouldn't call them negative dealings, but I don't like Shareasale very much, although I still use them because they have merchants I'd like to promote. To me, Shareasale has a clunky interface. It's not easy to find the size banners you are looking for, you often have to go through each merchant individually to find links, and you can't search for products. It makes it so that when I'm looking for a merchant who carries the product I'm promoting, I'll search CJ first, then Linkshare, then Shareasale, with CJ being the easiest. I'm also kind of weary on their tracking abilities. I get a lot less clicks and sales from Shareasale merchants. But that could be just me. I posted a thread about my issues, so I wont take up yours.
yep as a merchant shareasale is good too , cause of really cheap set up . Also they have good number of affiliates .
I like Linkshare and Shareasale. So...I promote them on all of my website. I think the power of linkshare is individual products.. that's great I like it. CAB's program on shareasale is good when you start as a member you earn $, not so much but fun right!
