I used to use SEO Elite just for checking backlinks and I found that it was giving incorrect results for the IP addresses and some other things and I lost trust in it so I built my own backlink checker. I never used it for finding link partners as we were using LinksManager for reciprocals as it's all automated but we don't use LinksManager anymore because a site got banned for having all those irrelevant reciprocal links. One tool that I find very useful is WebCEO for checking rankings, backlinks, optimization advice, etc. and you can use it to find link partners and submit to directories and it has a built in browser.

I tried to work with Seo elite 3.2 and didn't like it, then I decided to check what is new in their 4th version. And their the story began - seo elite doesn't want to start up. I wrote to their support center (I can make a pretty weighty book from our correspondence) but the problem is still not solved. Now I want to find a decision just for the sport of it.

I've just checked SEO Elite 4.0 and... nothing changed :(

The same buggy piece of don't-know-how-to-call-that (go check the most popular thread "Many Errors with the NEW SEO Elite" at Brad's own forum http://www.seoelite.com/chat/viewtopic.php?t=5408); they say it's 5 times faster now - bullshit! don't believe this - go check yourself; they say it's more powerful - bullshit! almost no new functionality (except for hub finder, which is being called authority finder for some reason - I assume Brad doesn't even know what's the difference between a hub and an authority site :)); they claim to have more than 400 audio testimonals - bullsgit! we all know that Brad forces to record these testimonials to get a discount...

So, in my (humble) opinion: Brad gave the wrong name to the software -- it should be called SEO Bullshit ;)

have to agree, though I haven't seen it yet - because of that "couldn't connect..." window.
Their support is also a bullshit...

It's a very nice tool. I used to play with it for a while, but did they fix the memory overflow problem after a finished process which consumed 70% of the virtual memory? If they have done so, it's a really great product..

SEO Elite is an overpriced piece of crap. Totally.

Check out SEO SpyGlass, it's free, and much more accurate. Also, a lot faster!

Hehh... Seems like we read the same blogs, Warkot - I have also checked out this tool already (though seems that it was released today ;)

Well... Nice tool! Offers all the SEO Elite's *Why-Your-Competitors-Are-Ranking-Well* functionality, plus some additional info, and the info is organized much better.

And what I like about this tool most of all is that it's free! (yeah - I love free stuff. LOL :D )

PS: and I LOVE thier video about SEO Elite :D

IBP doesn't do offsite analysis, as far as I know. And I think it's overpriced for what it does. Onsite optimization helps very little in my experience.
