I am about #12 for "stock market" in Google, but don't get much traffic from it. Hmmm... Is that truly SEO success? I think for it to be a true SEO Milestone, I need to be getting traffic from the term.
#4 in Google for keyword with 12,200,000 results. much respect for those in this thread making $100/day, in any form... fantastic!
First page on G for 30 words/phrases and No 1 for 16 of them for 1 site. They range between 100K and 20M Results. No 3 out of 20 Million for a generic word relating to my site. 20K visitors so far this month from G, and only 53K last month - I am well and truly on-track to have another record month. So far, the site has had increasing traffic every moth since I built it and last month I finally cracked 50K uniques. Yes, this didn't just happen. the site is around 18 months old and I have put a lot of effort into getting these sort of results. I spend around 15hrs/mth working on it and in the last 2-3 months it has really started paying off. SEO is not something to do and forget, it is a daily task.
My first goal is to get ranked number one for a keyword compination with 170,000,000 competitors. But the one that is in the lead only has 2,000 incoming links and his content isn't really related to the keywords as much as my page will be. Wish me luck ;D
My current best is #1 out of 283,000,000, though it's important to know that the most competitive phrases don't always mean the most sales
I was targeting a term with 1 TRILLION 1,000,000,000 -- we are currently #12 but the term now has 800,000,000 The term in my siggy-- 'Internet business development' has 'internet business developer' we are #2 for both and they have 475,000,000 and 611,000,000 respectively Best #1 is 110 000 000
got dropped from the rankings for the first time ... used to be #1-5 for about 150 keywords for my main site.... As of yesterday, I didnt show up in the first 10 pages ... this sucks
