Hey, I would like to ask a question. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies. Assuming you have a blog. Could you share with me 2 things that you were/are struggling with during the first couple months of your blog (up to a year). This could be anything from writing regularly to promoting your content and monetizing your blog. What is the best solution you found, if any? Thanks, Dani
A blog doesn't become popular through magic or just pointing out some headlines on it. It needs sweet, simple and interesting subject matters. mijendra22.blogspot.com .It is a blog created by myself about a couple of month ago. The hardest thing at first i experienced is about the subject heading. I mean , on what subject should i blog. The next problem i experienced while creating my blog is the thought within me, who shall view my blog? The future of a blog belongs on them who believes in the beauty of their dreams. I got the lesson from my blog. How would i promote my blog in today's world? The answer i am seeking !
I have been learning and working on blogs online for about 4 years now. Two main problems I had with when I first started building one of my blogs online: Writing valuable & unique content AND promoting it on a regular basis. Organizing myself to be consistent with the necessary work and spending most of my time online doing income producing activities. So - in short I would say that the Content Creation, the marketing of that content and the self-discipline to keep it all together are the things I personally struggled with the most when I first started blogging online. But if you asked me which one is the most challenging part when building a successful blog online I would say the Self-Discipline part! Since you are your own BOSS - your chances to do as much productive work as possible are very low if you do not have a powerful self-discipline to get the job done. Most people that wants to build a blog online and wants to make money online with it, will fail most of the time because of the lack of Self-Discipline and Organization. These are very fundamental keys to your success online - building your own business where you are your own Boss. The best advice I could give you and the thing that solved all of my problems here is to Treat Building an Online Business as a Real JOB! Create your own Work-from-Home Schedule or Work-Online Schedule - whatever you want to call it, just come up with a working schedule to follow every week. Come up with an schedule that works for you and with your other current activities. You are your own boss after all, right! I would also come up with a Productive Tasks List to guide myself every time I work online. I want to have some written that I can follow so I don't get distracted easily and I know for sure what is it that I have to get done for the day. I would come up with a list of all of the things I can do online to take my blog one step closer to success - to my goals. Building a successful blog online is a long process that takes a lot of consistent work, effort and patience. If you cannot control your time and your actions then how can you control a successful business online? ... there is a lot to learn and a lot to do here - so doing just a tiny, little bit of work one hour a week is not going to get you far. The other challenge would be with the Content Creation and the Marketing of that content but once you get the Self-Discipline Part right then this should be a piece of cake. All it will really take is a lot of consistency and time to get the results you are looking for. If you struggle with the content creation then the best solution would be to learn as much as possible as often as possible. You can learn a lot just from the internet alone! So the content creation should not be too big of a problem. I would say the marketing part can be a bit more challenging than the content creation but with great organization to do the right things on a very consistent basis can help you accomplish any challenges. There is a lot more I can continue to talk about and teach but I'll leave that for my Blogs This is my 2cents on the topic! Great topic by the way! I really hope this information here can help you and anyone new online! I wish you the best success online! Cheers!
The only real challenge I faced starting out with my blog was making my friends understand that blogging is a real job, not just a hobby. Like any real offline job, a blog requires time and dedication and that means real world hours being invested to create highest quality articles, tutorials and content. That doesn't happen in just a few minutes. We're talking weeks and even months of ten hour days spent in front of the computer, researching, editing and writing, followed up by the tough job of promotion. So, no more time for hanging out and playing games with friends. Once my blog started earning money, they realized this was the real deal and got behind me in support.
2 problems that I struggled with when I first started blogging was: 1) I knew I wanted to start writing, but I never knew what I wanted to write about. Mind you that I am not the greatest writer either, so it took a lot of different tries for me to finally figure out what it is that I wanted to talk about on my blog. I am not exaggerating here, I think I spent about 2-3 years thinking and procrastinating and then I would create a blog and write in it for a few days, but a few days go by I get sick of writing about the same thing and would end up writing about something else. This went on for a long time for me, until I finally what it is that I really wanted to write about. 2) Basically having the discipline to sit down and write every single day. Mind you that when you go to a full time job, the last thing on my mind when I came home was to write in my blog. I made it a habit to sit down every single morning before going to work to write something in my blog, so this way it was out of my way long before my day started in the outside world
I just faced problem with generating traffic, actually I did't face problem with writing articles as I used all the articles I had written in past years. I feel that blogging is not easy for the beginners.
For me, a big problem was the coding of the website. I have spent a lot of time in removing the links and information that came along with my website theme. However, if you spend time learning, you will surely get the way! Also, arranging the content in appropriate categorizes was a challenge for me.
