    it's pretty self explanatory. You have to be a participating member with a certain amount of post to post links.
    It's a spam deterrent. I don't know how many, read the forum rules.

    If you try to run several blogs on various niche, you will loose the focus. Start with one, then move forward to build another one with the same niche market...

    If you want tested what is working, start on free platform, and move to stand alone domain name with word press installation...
    I know question was related " How many blogs you have" , but I just can not resist to give litlle input here

    I only have one blog, but I plan to (eventually) move the blog to a sub-domain and start hosting a lot of other (very related) content to start sharing traffic among all the different parts of the site; so, in a manner of speaking, I'll someday have one blog and three or four different "websites" that all share a common domain.     I have a lot to mention here, but of note 5 are very active, 3 with moderate activities, 1 as a sales page and 1 am setting it up as a membership running on wordpress + delavo(tm).
