    Hi Guys ,

I would like to share some tips about selling on Flippa ...based on my experience in there !

1- pick attractive beneficial title picking the best related keywords to your listing .
2- Describe your listing in details using simple text don't use spammy words
3- focus on the benefits not on feature (people wants profits)
4- attache adsense and GA stats or any kind of proof
5- try to spend some money on feature listing ads
6- most important ,don't accept everyone bids !!! try to check each of the bidders profile and look if he has bad reputation review or disputed auction ...

as I said ,there're many tips also can be added on my tips ... so please feel free to add what u have from experience so we can learn more from you :)

    Best luck everyone ...

Let's be honest here, DP is much much better... You can post your website for free... while in Flippa you must pay... ( that's only mine opinion)

Good tips by OP. Flippa has many more buyers and much bigger reach than DP.
If you have a quality site with decent revenue and know how to list and sell it properly on flippa you'll do a lot better than on DP, since there are simply less buyers on DP.

It's very important to take the time and effort to do a proper listing on flippa, have reasonable expectations and list all your proofs comprehensively, otherwise your listing just won't get much interest.

I want to share you one experience which just happen to me.
I thought this might help someone especially newbies who want to sell his/her website on Flippa.

    Ok, here the case.
I get my site on Flippa.
I start the price at $1.
I got it reserved at $200
    The BIN price is $1500
Listed the site for 30 days

(I was too ego to let my site price below than that).

Guess what, 20 days had passed, but just got ONE bid (yesterday [IMG]).
Got 240 something views and 5 watched.

    Fast forward.

    A few minutes ago,
I made a change on my listing.

    I removed the reserved price.
I low down the BIN price to $300 +
Changed the ending period to only ONE day.
    Bought "Featured Listing".

    And here what happen.
Within 5 to 10 minutes, I already have 2 bids.

Well, this not so much success story to share, but what I want to share
here, with the above(little) adjustment to my list, I improved it.

And my instinct say, I can get the BIN price [IMG] (better than nothing [IMG])
    Hopefully it's true.

    @amil;
with a BIN of $1500, some might think your reserve is $750-1000, (or close to that) and if this is above their maximum, and or above what they would pay for their site, the might not bid. Whereas a lower bin (in your case $300) means to me the reserve might be $150-$200, and it might just be worth my time to bid on, as $150-$200 *might* be either what I value your site to be, or the amount I am willing to pay. Like for me, I would bid on, and follow sites that I realistically am likely to win, and a high bin does deter me.
The other thing to note is that flippa has built in restrictions that prevent 'freeloaders' from bidding, or contacting sellers that have a listing of over a specific value (unless they verify with a credit card). Dont quote me on this, but it is possible that your high BIN, was actually preventing "unverified" people from bidding. I dont remember if this is $200 or $300 before a listing is offlimits to freeloaders / unverified bidders.

only because they get bored of DP :p

the reason I dont like to try to sell on flippa is the fees. *yikes*, it just becomes a gamble.... like what if you list at a bad time? what if there are only a few people interested in your niche?

It surprises me that they even charge $29 for just selling domains, I would think it would be more fair for a smaller listing fee in exchange for them keeping a large sales commission would be more fair.

OP, is flippa really the best place to attract the best price? have you tried sedo for selling domains and sites?
