Share with me your ideas in what I develop this domain

Hello,

A year ago, I bought a domain name .com for $x,xxx its meaning is "bored" but in a different language.

Now i have time to develop the website but i dont want to develop into an online games like bored.com..do you have suggestion?

Nothing really interesting comes to mind. How about a dating site? Some singles are bored and looking. Or you can try a blog style site with lots of fun stories and images.

 

Maybe a funny images site focused on that specific country, All i can think of really..

 

If the domain name doesn't have positive meaning then it is hard to get ideas, as you are having this domain name for more than 10 years and you have spent good money so it has good domain age, try selling if you don't have any idea.

 

Adults are always bored, so I suggest you make a website for adults, maybe a blog or a special community website!

 

My first thought was a site like you suggest, but with the domain name meaning the same things as those other guys, and similar content they might come after you for infringing on their brand. My second thought was a site that promotes different types of hobbies, perhaps a forum.

 

bored ? travel. Make it a travel website.

 

kinda curious as to what your plan was behind investing so much in that domain? is your aim behind the site to earn back part of the investment or is the site just for fun?

What about something like an avatar chat?

Instead of it being 1 niche, what about a multi site that combats boredom in serveral different ways?
- what about a site that has different activities to do in real life?
- things to do in school holidays, travel ideas, top places to visit,
- information on new release games (good way to use amazon affiliate links to promote products that fight off boredom)
- and do new games (like boredom.com) but only have top rated, or latest release games, (dont fill it with all and every game)

For me, names like boredom are negative. Perhaps, instead of finding a site that suits the domain, find what niche interests you, build the site of your dreams, then find a name that suits the site.

Bored domain name.. One thing that comes to mind is to create user submitted sites like 9gag.
It's for us bored people, no?

 

A blog about fun things to do ? - How to become a less boring person lol - Or may be to promote your next book!

 

If I were you I would create a website for trying new things out and documenting it by video then post it on your website and tell people the ups and downs and what have you learned and how fun it is with this idea
you have great life plus a great income, two stones in one shot

 

if your domain means bored in Arabic Language ! than I would suggest you to go for Arabic social site actually it was my next project in mind .. but good luck with it while I believe it fits your domain .

Well, if you are targeting at bored people, you may like to have some music or picture of outer space or bored-looking looks (of people/animals) ... . There must be many people who feel bored or couldn't fall asleep, you can do something on your website to help them fall asleep or feel accepted?

 

Amazon store site that targets the products for bored people, like motivational music, or any music, DVD, even liqueur, wine shop,,

 

Try that. Anything you try, it can only bring you something good.
