I have noticed lately a trend in blogspam... there are numerous sites that basically grab your content (or part of it), and then ping your site with anchor text like "Shane" or "unknown". (Here's one example spam site: videogamearticles dot info)

I know there's like two things that will happen:
    - those blogs won't make a dime (okay, they might make a dime after you worked your butt off to get traffic but seriously people... it's easier to server hamburgers in terms of getting money :))
    - Some people* might get pissed off :)

Naturally these spammers want to use your site... but I'd be interested to know what people do to these sites? Personally I don't give rat's bottom if somebody tries to steal my content like this and links to me... it's link to me anyway - so who cares.

But the point of this thread: Have you guys encountered these "Shane wrote" blogspammers? How do you deal with them? How can you stop them from getting access to your blog feed (not that I would do that now, but out of curiosity)? Do you even care - why/why not?

*I'm not one of those - not yet at least..

I am getting one way inbound link and some traffic from that site so I don't mind that.

Well, basically that's my thinking as well. I was just wondering if others think differently....
