I just checked this site http://ing-know.exteen.com/ it seems its some kind of blog hosted at http://www.exteen.com/ which has copied my entire post. My blog is at blog4bloggers.blogspot.com . Even the links on this guy's blog points to my old posts. ALL he has done is changed his google pid and other referral ids. As of right now I have mailed the webmaster. Will take some other action if he don't reply soon.
trying contacting the people that are hosting the website and tell them that one of there user has unlawfully copied all your content and that you want there account suspended.
I wouldnt waste my time with the moron if he set out to rip you off in the first place. Go after his host and get him shut down, he deserves it.
thanks for the suggestion guys. I guess they are not going to bring it down. So I am going to send an email to hosting company.
Hope you remember this http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/2.5/ ie the copyright you kept on your site, tell their host about the whole issue and he will be down ASAP Good luck Amit
Very cool site scraping technology indeed. How does he do it? via RSS or something? Whatever, it's unethical. Can you report to Adsense staff so that his adsense account is suspended too?
Do you think this type of response is really helpful - why don't you not reply to threads if your going to come out with this type of crap, and yes, I was the one who red repped you. Back to the question; Before jumping in there with two feet and getting other people involved, contact the webmaster involved. If they don't respond within 48 hours, then file a DMCA with Google, and email the host with a copy of the DMCA. It also helps if you have a good copyright statement on your blog or website, get it written by a professional, and also have a good solicitor you can run the issue through with. Just because they are based abroad it doesn't mean that they shouldn't adhere to your copyright conditions - then send them an invoice for using your work, and if they don't pay, get a small claims court case in. I said cool scraping technology! Scraping is NOT really for stealing ok? Google search engine is a best example of scraping technology.
Thanks for the information Darren, since this is the first time I am facing such problem so I am not much aware of the things to be done, hence jumping here and getting help from others, I guess thats one of the reasons we have this forum, thanks again for your help
