Anybody succeeded with sweepstakes to promote forum ?. If I offer free tax software sweepstake will you participate ? The requirement is to ask one tax question and a CPAs will answer your question free. I am sure many people tried to promote their forum by offering these kind of promotions. What is the success rate ? Will I be better of with other advertisement. I am not planning for paid posters. JP Thomas
I know earners forum became huge with a $20,000 prize so doing a promotion like that would definitely help your forum. As for giving away tax software for a tax forum, it sounds like a very good plan for someone on a low budget and could definitely work. But, you would have to advertise your promotion and that might take a bit of work. Good luck!
