Personally 15-30 mins is more than enough not 2-3 hours . Plus there were some custom officers out there in the US airport who were vouching for him but still they didnt leave.. lol i think they even had to ask those people to google his name..come on y simply make the process so big for no reason and then make people feel that they are uninvited in America
Why are you so wound up on this? Countries have to protect their borders. Maybe there was something suspicious about him. Or they have a policy of checking random people. Just because he's a celebrity in India, doesn't mean he can get VIP treatment, where no-one has heard of him.

If it happens with shahrukh only because he is muslim, then it is completely wrong. But if it is the process for all, then no need to make news of this thing.

That's a sad thing. it may happen, but if you ask them they will say they keep security issues in mind and do for their country. the fact of the matter is America is not entering in the good books of the Indians or Pakistanis.
