This problems of frisking and interrogating won't end till terrorism stays alive. somebody should do something about terrorism worldwide. Still, you cannot humiliate individuals in the name of security.
Yes that should be done according to me but I don't think our goverment will do so... as they know how to respect peoples..
respect? how about over 3000 killed when 9/11 occurred? how about the many terrorist cells operating in my country right now? fuck respect. if there is even the smallest suspicion, run them through the wringer.
m Pakistani and I suggest Indians to treat angelina jolie like this.. Detain her and mark her as a terrorist oWned xD
of course i do, ever hear of Cat Stevens? i grew up on his music. now he is on the same list as the aforementioned celebrity. celebrity status does not give you immunity or instant respect.
Don't know much about british people, can you name one indian celebratiy who has done something like this?????
no i cannot. that doesn't mean anything though. are you saying every citizen of India is above reproach? i am quite certain there are many citizens of the US who are scumbags and terrorist sympathizers who deserve a bullet in their heart.
The actor is in the US to promote "My Name is Khan", a new film about racial profiling of Muslims after the Sept 11, 2001, attacks. Hmm, I wonder what the odds are he did something to provoke being questioned, after all it would be good publicity. I travel to the States from Canada once a week and I have been stopped once in a random check and stuck for over 3 hours. Every time I go I know this may happen and accept the fact, bottom line, if you don't like it don't travel to the States.
Well his movie is not releasing any time soon so dont think its a publicity stunt Well the point is why is it happening even to a normal person
hah, we arrest our own as well: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...man-fails-recognise-scruffy-music-legend.html
i saw this when you first posted it, so i waited to see if you would perhaps change it or even delete it, but you didn't. you know nothing about the US. here, ex presidents travel with an entourage. aides, secretaries and heavily armed Secret Service agents. try frisking an ex US President and the very least that happens is your body slammed to the ground, handcuffed and stuffed in a jail cell for many many hours. not too mention the Q&A session that follows. the worst is you get shot to death. so not a very smart post you made. normal? i don't think an Indian celebrity could be considered normal. too bad that happened at the airport to him, but security comes with a price. if you don't like the US, thats fine. your entitled to your opinion.
i think u didnt get me Im talking about Indian Ex President Bieng Frisked by a US Airlines http://www.andhranews.net/India/2009/July/21-Former-president-Kalam-18309.asp
this discussion involves actions that happened on US soil. what your describing happened in India by Indian personnel, following Indian rules and laws. that is rather strange though. don't your ex presidents travel with a protection detail?
This has happened by US Airlines by US Personnel according to international laws first check is done by the airport people and second is done by the airlines people. They were asked not to but our president was kind enough and told the guards to let them do what they want and niether did he complain to any1 only after few months this was made public by some source inside
I agree with you.. i too smell something fishy out here... he does all such stuff to promote his film.. no doubt.. why such things happen with the movie release date nearing??? I guess all publicity gimmick.
1) He aint a global celebrity 2) The US can search anyone entering their country. I've been searched (just my bags and pockets, though) entering the UK, and I don't exactly look odd. 3) How is it sad? Does it effect you? Countries can do what they want to reduce unwanted people entering. I wish the UK woud do more.
well i think its outrageous that a former Head of State, accompanied by guards, was subjected to something as undignified as being physically searched. i am certainly against that. there should of been more respect shown. your ex president was very gracious about it. the article says it happened almost 2 months ago. it says someone leaked the story.. as for international law, i'd have too look that one up, not being an international traveler. but this is about Shahrukh Khan. they should make people walk through those xray machines
