shadow box+jquery and i have few queries .plz advice me

    Hi,
    -> How to show the shadow box with the help of jquery.
    ->how to call ajax.(when i tried $.post ,it requested twice .One with the url i provided and another the current page url).How to resolve this
    -> How to load the result from ajax ie response text?
    ->How to show some images while calling ajax and till we get the response.
    ->how to show validation by changing the border color.

    .Please advice me.

    Hi ,
    I have integrated the lightbox (http://jquery.com/demo/thickbox/) plugin of jquery and it is working fine for one link,but when i used it for the 2 or more link it still works for the first link and all the remining link open as new page instead of coming in popup box(with shadow effect).
    But in the DEMO site they have provide it for more links.

    Why this is happening?
    Any idea?
