Shab-e Cheleh VS Christmas!

    tomorrow night is Shab-e Cheleh or Yalda eve that widely celebrate by Iranian.

    I saw this article that says it has some concern with Xmas!

    this feast came from when Iranian was Sun worshiper. whether it was pagan feast or not, it is our identity. Many parts of Iran covered with high mountains and has cold weather, so sun could be so kind in this areas.
    in this feast people should eat fruits especially watermelon and pomegranate. we think who eat watermelon in this eve would not get flu for entire winter.
