I've heard that the Russian mob lures girls from places that Moldava and Southern Russia and sells them into slavery in Western Europe. I didn't know about the sex slave problem in Turkey.
This is a global problem. In fact Saudi Arabia and the United Arab emirates may be the wosrts offenders because of a lack of womens rights there generally. I have read that Dubai is actually athe epicenter of the global slave trade
There is no country with certain amount of wealth which does not suffer from sex slavery. No surprise at all US has it too. It is mostly parallel to illegal immigrancy issues. The girls are usually tricked by a decent job offer in their country and then recruited into the business, who are mostly from Ukraine and Russia in Turkey, and then forced into prostitution. They are regularly monitored and immediately deported, but they just keep coming, very tough problem, esp. the disease part.
