Sex Ed for Kindergarteners 'Right Thing to Do,' Says Obama

When I was in Kindergarten I was taught the letters of the Alphabet and played educational games. Sex ed? Is this for real? And Obama thinks it's a good idea?

This is why, much to my dismay, Hillary Clinton will take the Democrat nomination.

Thoughts? Absurd, to say the least. I see Obama as a personable and likeable guy. I wouldn't vote for him, but he seems honest and nice. Can't believe he'd say something like this. There's an "age of innocence" with children and forcing something like this on them at such an early age has nothing I can see that would be positive.

Babies are known to get erections while breastfeeding. There is no absolute "age of innocence" w/ regards to sexuality.

If he said it, I think it is flatly inappropriate. I agree with the OP, and disagree with exe - there is time enough, and this age isn't one of them. I also am a bit skeptical, I guess, in that Obama is a bright guy and unless he just made a collosal error in judgment, whether he believes it or not, he would have had to know this would invite a hailstorm of negative response.

I can almost guarantee the Clinton campaign is planning an ad campaign on this for further down the road.

I'm not sure if I see the big deal, personally. I think, essentially its to tell kids that they come from their parents; not the stork. I think kids already know this right?
