This was a suprise to me today. Sometimes I see one click or even two not pay...but SEVEN! That's just nuts. Anyone else have similar experiences? And I know it's a proxy site but I normally get 3 cents up to a quarter per click. As a matter of fact I have 4 proxies total and the other 3 all earned today at least 10 cents a click.
It might have been a click fraud , Google doesnt like clicks from same IP , or cookies , be careful on haters clicking on your ads.
It's the first day I added adsense..it's a recent purchase. I bought 2 though and the other one earned 37 cents for 3 clicks. Then you would think they shouldn't count the clicks. The only thing I can think of is the traffic is from a country where clicks are worthless.
Yeah, what the guy said above... I have like 200 clicks today that has not come into effect yet. Are these stats from yesterday. Also, you are not allowed to show your "CTR" of adsense you can get banned right quick for doing this. You should remove that screenshot and blur that part out becuase there area employee's of adsense around DP.
3 probability: 1. the ad is a cpm ad. you can disallow cpm ad via your adsense contorl panel. (most likely) 2. invalid clicks 3. system slow to update and verifying the click (happened to me once but rare)
Invalid clicks maybe...fraud clicks...impossible. So far 9 clicks today which is probably about the same CTR as the rest of my proxy sites yet only 1 penny income. It's only one day and I don't really care because it's not that much income but I really think Google is BS for now giving it's publishers better information. We don't know what percentage they keep nor how much each click is worth. It would be nice to know what the advertisers are paying. I kind of doubt that those 9 clicks didn't get charged to the advertiser.
I have sites with HIGHER CPM...so that's not it. And those stats are just one page. I only have adsense on the index page. Yesterday it seemed to have normal earnings. I just think it's suprising to see 7 clicks and not one penny of income. It's just kind of insulting. If indeed these are invalid clicks why are they even shown on the report? Yeah I have had my adsense account for about 7 years...and I haven't seen something like this either before. Occassionally I see one or two clicks that are worthless..but SEVEN!
